Window…

Hi…. How are u…Hope the day is going just as u expected….!

Any guess what are u going to read ahead…may be something about IT or interior or something must have propped up in your mind, isn’t it?

Well I thought of something when I woke up early morning and as usual saw a lady in mid 30’s walking on her terrace to regain her lost shape and early days of youth to get some attention of her hubby(may be..!) or someone else… but what do u say, “Round” is also a good shape, isn’t it? …

Well back to the point…the window…It was usual day..but the clouds covered this dawn….and the view was comparatively beautiful… One short story of keeping others happy came to my mind…read it if you have time…

Once in a hospital, two patients got admitted on the same day… One got the window bed and the other was on the bed opposite to the window… Patient near window had this dreaded disease which he didn’t tell the other patient. No one came to visit him in two or three day…and by this time both had started talking to each other… This patient on opposite side of window once asked what can u see from the window…as he was not allowed to get up being weak … the patient opposite to window was feeling sad because he had very few chances of getting recovered from cancer, but doctors once told that motivation and medicine may heal you…

Patient on the window was calm and always used to say what is their outside… he said there are people on the streets, a garden opposite to hospital where children’s are playing, he also explained every beautiful morning, the way sun shines and gives hope for better day for all… he kept the positivism growing all day….slowly the patient hearing all this was positive about life and started recovering….

The one on window, was not getting better, in fact his condition was deteriorating…one sad morning…he never woke up…

But to doctor’s surprise the other patient was ok now… later, that patient was able to get up from the bed…he asked the doctor to help him see the scene, which was described by his friend everyday….

To his shock and dismay, the window was opening to wall. He came to know that his friend was suffering from AIDS, and was not going to recover…

He understood why his friend said good things every day, he understood… Importance of “HOPE”, Hope of future, Hope of beautiful life, Hope of making world better by helping without expectation…though he was not going to live but the time he had was spent to give someone HOPE to live.

So…? What’s your role in giving “Hope” to someone in agony?  Being frank, I try it some time only…I may try to do it on higher scale in future… How about U?
