It's been close to one year since I got them installed and I have changed my mobile phone twice after that. I think I do not have that detail you are asking for. Yeah!!! I have installed the components from outside and they are working fine. If you are planning to install those extra components from the Maruti dealer itself, you are again making a mistake. Thanks for this information. Here are the reasons why I wanted to get those things done outside: 1. The cost difference of VXi from LXi is close to 40-50K just for the 5 extra accessories namely Power Windows, Music System, Central Locking, Wheel caps, and other minor features which are negligible. read more...

I have a query. Did you fit accessories such as Central Remote Locking and Power Windows for your car? The LXi model does not come with these fittings. Thanks for the information. My cousin installed Power Windows separately for his Swift LXi and it has been fine for the past 1 year. Is there any specific reason to get it factory fitted?
