Biased review I think. HP like many other manufacturing cos is known to wriggle out of servicing or replacing a defective product. MY LG A/C is working perfectly well even after 3 years of use. No issues at all. Great cooling , and ppwer consumption is as per what LG states. All in all a wonderful product.

THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM IDEA EVEN TO MY EMAIL EXCEPT THE AUTOMATED RESPONSE I GOT WHEN I SENT IT. MOST UNCARING AND CHEATING SERVICE PROVIDER IN MUMBAI IS IDEA CELLULAR.

I have had a wonderful experience with LG service for my AC in Mumbai. Very responsive and in fact replaced the product immediately. Always available, their service manager, Mr. Nilesh Ghotekar, on his mobile. Very courteous.

Also dear pkm1, the clicking sound you are referring to is that of the coils contracting due to the cold air flowing through them. The sound I am referring to is coming from the compressor and dear Expert, there is no cold air in the compressor is there? Please read carefully before commenting.

hey pkm1, you didnt read what i wrote too well i think :) The sound is not at start and cut off of the compressor, it is continous, and without let up. And it is emanating from the compressor, so there is no question of it being a faulty unit. LG have promised to replace the unit. If they do, then I read more...

No way, the 7610 is monstrously ugly. It is meant to be a feminine phone but has no curves nor is it slim.
