We cousins made an impromptu plan to visit Matheran. Had a heard a lot about Byke hotel, in fact it is known to be one of the best. However, I would not agree to that anymore. So we checked in at around 11:00 am. As it is said, first impression is the last impression, we had to wait for almost the entire day for a neat and clean room. Called the room service a hundred times and never really got a positive response from them.
Anyway I will not just crib about the negative. Besides the above mentioned issue, I guess we had no other problem. The hotel has cottages, rooms to die for. They are pretty spacious to make your weekend perfect. The pool were very clean and they have a separate baby pool with a small slide. The food was amazing and filling, 4 heavy meals a day, what more could you ask for.
So with all the good happenings, they can work a little on their customer service and then I will certainly agree to the number one ranking of this Resort.
For now, 3.5/5 would be enough
