I have recently purchased singer 8280. The service is really appreciated as off now. My first impression when I started sewing was easier and smoother. As a begginer this machine meets all my needs. It is good purchase for starter. The foot pedal control is good not to fast and heavy. Initially I too ran into the bobbin jamming up and couldn’t figure it out.
But after reading the manual instruction it guided me easily step by step through the set-up and usage. Follow the instructions for bobbins and threading than it is easy and simple to use. Recommended for small DIY projects & Not suggested for heavy duty work. Overall I am satisfied with my product.
