This was my second DC book store that I visited in Cochin. Unlike the one in the Ernakulam region, this was a little small and less crowded I might add. While looking out for a Forbes magazines I was informed that I can also purchase good & less available eBooks at very low prices(Could start from Rs. 99.although I didn’t purchased one, but it was something I haven’t seen elsewhere.)
In spite of it’s comparative small place, you can easily give a quick go through to your desired books(this store give bookish smells that avid readers will adore). There is also provision of taking a book on rent. Although that seems to be a facility only for regular visitors. Please opt for the rent part cautiously as the owner informed me that the rent payment includes the security money which is equal to the cost of the book.
This specific DC book store seemed to have a lot more books/magazines on politics and international social figures. Must visit place for those who like politics inclined novels(like The Naxal and India after Gandhi etc). Can also ask for second hand books here(depending on availability as I too couldn’t get one)
