Videocon DTH is the worst service provider. I had been using the same for past 4 but for last 1 year they have become so annoying and greedy that no matter how much you pay them they will always find means to remove one or other channel which they say is included in the package.
They have increased the price and reduced the number channels. For last 3 months I am charging for the whole amount for a month the but there is no Hindi serial channels or news channel. I am charging my account my money is getting exhausted without any channel being provided except the add on package which I have taken from them for English movies.
I called up the customer care to let them know the same but they are saying that there may be some weather disturbance, when I said that nothing as such is there so they asked me to restart the set top box, which I did but still there were no channels except English Movie channel. The customer care laady says that they will send an engineer and the same will be chargeable. I asked her if the English channels are coming then how come the other channels not coming. It cannot be an issue of weather. She had no answer to that and said an engineer will visit.
I asked her that since no channels are coming so I asked them to downgrade my package on which she told me the cost of basic plan and then an add-on pack. I said ok, please activate the same on which the customer care executive said that there is no plan for 99. When I asked her that she just now told me about the plans, so she started saying that is there is no package as such and she gave me wrong information by mistake. She also added that I cannot downgrade my package before 30 days, on which I asked 30 days from what date? To which she had no answer.
Very mean and cheat kind of DTH service provider.
