Stupendous! Impeccable! Mind-blowing! Super se bhi Upar! Words just can’t describe the super-awesome Annual Appreciation Day 2023-24 organized by Apeejay School, Noida on 16th Dec’2023 for the session 2023-2024. The programme was graced by Ms. Laxmi Singh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Gautam Budh Nagar as the chief guest and Mr. Shashadhar Acharya, Padma Shri; renowned exponent of Chhau dance form as the Guest of Honour.
Programme started with a beautifully performed Invocation Dance by the students. This was followed by felicitation of the students for their achievements in Academics as well as Co-scholastic activities. Vice-principal ma’am presented the annual report of the school wherein different initiatives and events organized by the school were presented to the audience, viz. Grand Runathon Event on 19th Nov’23, Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Kala Sangam - Ek Awismarniya Anubhav on 17th Oct’23, G20 Awareness Programme on 6th Sep’23, Students witnessing the live landing of Chandrayaan-3 on 23rd Aug’23, 28 Morning Coffee Meetings with Principal Ma’am etc., to name a few.
Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Principal Ma’am motivated and encouraged the children with their mind-stimulating golden words of wisdom.
Attraction of the day was the musical play ’Ollie with a twist", which was a beautiful amalgamation of Vikram-Betal story, dance performances by the children on varied Hindi and English songs and an adaptation from the English story of stolen childhood. Show stoppers of this musical play were the tiny tots who just stole the show with their cuteness and exuberance. Break dance involving locking and popping by the children of primary wing was just jaw-dropping. Children performing hoolah-hoop dance was simply exceptional.
Important thing to highlight here is that entire annual day programme was designed and devised in such a way ensuring involvement and participation from maximum children from all the classes, so that no child felt that he or she is left out.
According to me, This was the best Annual Appreciation Day organized by the school during my association of 5 years with the school. Tireless efforts put in by the teachers, school management, school staff and most importantly the children was just exemplary.
Words are less to describe my feelings and experience during the Annual Day. Kudos and Hip Hip Hurray to the principal ma’am, vice-principal ma’am and the entire school management including teachers & children for putting up a remarkable show. May the school keep soaring high and achieve greater heights.
