AFTER A FEW CALL & COMPLAINTS, NO RESPONSE FROM TOSHIBA, I WROTE THE UNCONCERNED CUSTOMER CARE OF TOSHIBA THIS MAIL:
Dear Unconcerned Customer Care,
I bought a TOSHIBA WASHING MACHINE a few years back, just thinking that for such a big brand I don’t need to cross check for its after sales services. But to my surprise when there was a fault in the machine and I called up the customer care, there was no response from any service center for 48 hours. On my calling again after 48 hours, the customer care gave me a service center telephone number. I was shocked to hear the stupid arguments, when I did call the service center and they denied to attend the call. The arguments from them were:
1) The models sold in Delhi and Mumbai are different, so the model I have would not be serviced in Delhi as the model was never sold in Delhi and the parts would not be available in Delhi/NCR.( I hope Delhi is in India according to Toshiba India)
2) You’ll need to send the machine to Mumbai at your cost, if you want it to be repaired or scrap this machine and buy a new machine.
3) This was all told to me even without a visit.
I hope the customer care is able to understand to what kind of service centers are being allotted and to what kind of service partners. This would definitely effect the reputation of the company and I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND any products of TOSHIBA to anyone in INDIA.
