We purchased a four door high end Hitachi Refrigerator in September 2015. I am appalled at the total lack of commitment on the part of the Hitachi Service Team and the way the company treats its customers.
My refrigerator has broken down and has stopped working since the past three days. I registered a complaint and was given token no: 17090400822. On registering the complaint, I was told that the technician would visit us within 48 hours. I requested for an urgent action which he promised he would write as a priority. I am a working woman and cannot be expected to stay at home all day waiting for the engineer. On calling up the company to find out when the engineer would visit, the only reply that I get from the Customer Service is that they will arrange a call back which never ever happens!
Its now over 72 hours since my complaint but there has been no communication from Hitachi. They have launched an app where one can escalate the complaint. I was given the Service Escalation No: 859F436C637. But yet absolutely NO COMMUNUCATION from the Hitachi Service Team! So why have you
made the app if you dont follow up on it? On calling up, all that your Customer Care is trained to do is respond that they would arrange a call back which never happens!
On insisting that I would like to speak to a senior, he gave me the telephone number 8879752321 which no one answered!
I deeply regret trading in my old faithful LG refrigerator for this swanky looking Hitachi when I moved to a new home. This has been the third time I have had to call the service team and every single time they have given me the runaround. This time it was urgent since the refrigerator has completely stopped cooling yet their lackadaisical attitude has not changed. I would strongly advise anyone who asks me NEVER to purchase Hitachi Refrigerators and put it on every possible blog. Hitachi has ZERO regards for its customers as against brands like LG who give you prompt after sales.
