Having utilized the services of both Agarwal Packers & Movers(AMPL) and DRS Group, I can unequivocally declare that AMPL surpasses DRS Group by miles. AMPL boasts advanced technology and exceptional customer service, while DRS Group remains stuck in archaic practices with rude and unprofessional staff. Despite enduring their unpleasantries, it has been a staggering 12 days, and my belongings are still nowhere to be seen.
Allow me to recount the ordeal for the benefit of those contemplating their services:
I engaged DRS Group for a relocation from Bangalore to Nagpur last month. After numerous calls to customer care, they finally graced my home for a budget estimation. Following that, there was a deafening silence for 15-20 days. Despite my persistent follow-ups, booking their service was akin to a Herculean task. Once booked, there was no confirmation email or message, leaving me in limbo. Mohanlal(+91 93926xxxxx), the designated contact person, epitomized forgetfulness, requiring repeated explanations with no guarantee of a response. On the appointed day, a team of five arrived, demanding an extra tip whose amount was at their whim. They loaded my belongings onto a 20-feet truck, assuring me of an end-to-end service with delivery in Nagpur.
Fast forward 11 agonizing days, and my belongings are still elusive. Every day is an exercise in frustration as I navigate through their labyrinthine customer service, with no tracking information available. Mahaptra(+91 93434xxxxx), one of their tracking personnel, embodies rudeness and utter unhelpfulness. To add insult to injury, a driver called to inform me that my consignment arrived in a 32-feet truck, contrary to my booking specifications. His suggestion to retrieve my belongings at 11:30 PM was met with a curt hang-up upon my refusal. Now, the abyss of silence greets my calls, with neither Mohanlal nor the customer service team bothering to respond.
To all prospective movers, heed this cautionary tale: avoid Agarwal Packers and Movers DRS Group at all costs. The uncertainty surrounding the fate of your belongings, coupled with the daunting prospect of insurance claims in case of damages, is a risk not worth taking.
As I cling onto hope for the arrival of my consignment, I beseech the DRS Group, with my GC number 490861, to fulfill their end of the bargain. Rest assured, I will not be availing of their services again, nor will I subject anyone else to this harrowing experience.
