Thanks JKDaniel for your comment. I never wait for the low fuel indication lamp to glow. I visit the pump whenever the last point starts blinking rapidly...

thanx daniel for your valuable comment....it is just for my knowledge and will not try to drive till last drop of petrol...

Same thing happened to me too.Last time when i filled 10 ltrs of petrol,after a run of nearly 25 kms,the indicator showed 1 pt. from 2 pts.
ya...As the fuel indication is digital,we cant get the precise measurement of fuel in the car...
