If you are conerned about average,then go for Discovet Dts-si blindly.It is certified by international agencies for good average.also Bajaj bikes always are better than HH bikes in mileage and maintanence.Resale again depends more on condition on bike than anything.

Can't reccomend or not reccomend any bike on the basis of a single unrelated incident.Also while servicing oil change and the cost is always passed onto the customer by all companies.
