Hi, I bought Yamaha Gladiator last year after carefully scanning all options. You can read my review at: http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Yamaha_Gladiator-121770-1.html Its a great bike, with square engine (same dimensions of bore and stroke), resulting in very long life and smoothness of engi read more...

    Yamaha Gladiator
    May 06, 2008

I would recommend Yamaha Gladiator in 125 cc sergment. Honda Shine (125cc) is a trim down version of Honda Unicorn (150cc). Honda Shine doesnt match Yamaha Gladiator in any area. In 150 cc Honda Unicorn is appealing.

I have been driving Gladiator for over an year now and found it to be a fantastic bike in road handling. The bikes from Bajaj stable or any other makes in 100c or 125 cc just do not come in this category - Yamaha Gladiator is far superior to all of them. I guess you get your bike checked properly fo read more...

Yamaha Gladiator is a winner bike all thru. Its got square engine like legendry Yamaha RX100 - resulting in fine performance and durability, long life of engine. Yamaha has now added tachometer as well - kudos to them. Bajaj Pulsar 150 is a poor bike in comparison.
