Hi, I bought Yamaha Gladiator last year after carefully scanning all options. You can read my review at: http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Yamaha_Gladiator-121770-1.html Its a great bike, with square engine (same dimensions of bore and stroke), resulting in very long life and smoothness of engi read more...

I would recommend Yamaha Gladiator in 125 cc sergment. Honda Shine (125cc) is a trim down version of Honda Unicorn (150cc). Honda Shine doesnt match Yamaha Gladiator in any area. In 150 cc Honda Unicorn is appealing.

Very nicely summed up. I am driving Yamaha Gladiator for an year now, and I can vouch its fantastic bike. The two new models are just out, and include a tachometer now.

I have been driving Gladiator for over an year now and found it to be a fantastic bike in road handling. The bikes from Bajaj stable or any other makes in 100c or 125 cc just do not come in this category - Yamaha Gladiator is far superior to all of them. I guess you get your bike checked properly fo read more...

Yamaha Gladiator is a winner bike all thru. Its got square engine like legendry Yamaha RX100 - resulting in fine performance and durability, long life of engine. Yamaha has now added tachometer as well - kudos to them. Bajaj Pulsar 150 is a poor bike in comparison.

Hello Podiz, I feel u r taking the right decision. Unfortunately in India we have 'bhed chaal' or herd mentality. People just follow blindly rather than properly analysing the scenarios. Brgds

Hello Suresh, Very well explained. In any case Bajaj bikes are quite problematic once the initial charm is gone. Brgds

Hi, I did an extensive research for the bike in 125 cc category, and finally landed up on Yamaha Gladiator. Its gear box and engine are world class, have 5 gears for better mileage. And its got power to compete with 150 cc bikes, best looks among all 125 cc bikes. And best part, I could notice a read more...

Hi, I was in similar position before I finally opted for Yamaha Gladiator. I will first tell why i did not opt for Pulsar 150. Looks of a new Pulsar are decent, metering etc is quite advanced vis-a-vis the competetion. But after you have seen rationally a pulsar which has done about 3 years or read more...
Hello Pradeepji, Congrats on your purchase of the bike. I also started biking with a Bullet 350. As you are aware its engine runs at 5600 rpm, and has very low wear and tear. No other bike in India runs at this low rpm - thats why Bullet is unmatched in this respect. Its also heavier on pocket read more...
Hello Vijay, I dont agree to your classification of yours and other Gladiator owners as idiots who bought 125 cc when Yamaha is expected to bring 165 cc bike. If you look closely, the newer 165 cc Gladiator is a Sports bike whereas Gladiator 125 cc is a commuter bike. I for one, was interested in read more...

We should extend the adage 'In Rome, do as the Romans do', to 'Buy a product from Industry Leader' for that particular product. IFB's washing machines are the best, but you will be washed away if you are buying their Taiwanese product like Microwave. I have come across a lot of people buying read more...
