If your facts are correct, this straighaway reeks of deceit. Anything to protect the bottom line - that seems the corporate mantra nowadays. And as usual the customer is the first casualty. Don't waste time arguing or pleading. Send them a notice under the Consumer Act.

I have to agree with O P Verma and all the other writers who have slammed DISH TV's predatory way of doing business. It isn't enough to simply disconnect Airtel services. You need to resolve never to advance payments beyond a maximum period of one month to whatever operator you are subscribing. Making such heavy payments to these unscrupulous sharks in advance is simply playing into their hands.
