Thanks Paul ! I really appreciate that you appreciate what i appreciate. :-) Pardon the grammer but i think you get what i mean. Chess is a game where a pawn promotes to a QUEEN. Talk of the female being the deadlier of the species. A case of Life mimics Art. Yes chess has parallels in the real read more...
Just one thought. Chess at the competitive level is not played like at the amateur level. Opening theory is learnt by rote and moves are made in no time at all. Correct me if i am wrong but the footage seems to be Japanese not Chinese. The bow is the Japanese greeting of Konichiwa. Of course whatever it is, it is a brilliant idea and on that i agree unequivocally.

I am sorry. I said that the movie could have championed the cause of animal rights. I was wrong. I think the director is following the old adage 'Two is company three is a crowd'. Hence the use of that ratio 2/6 = 33% (correct me if i am wrong). If the director had added one more person of the said disposition i guess that would have put in question the very message that the movie purports (u read more...

I think the title of the movie / review should have been 'How to be perverse in la-la land'. If you have the stomach for a generous dose of infidelity and are permissive enough to accept same sex unions this movie is for you. I really fail to understand what the serial makers are up to. Women are treated like mere chattels, they are there to be abused and treated in the most derogatory way possible. This movie is to be viewed as an expression of creative thought that explores existentialist angst in the persona of its characters. It is not meant to be watched by people who see a perfect society in today's world or who indeed, wished it existed. The characters all have a dark side and that is th read more...
