the movie is like a poetry. The full movie it seems is shot in rainy season and continuos raining is happening through out. similarily both the characters of the movie ( two leading ladies) are either crying or in a mode of sadness. Rains from the sky and tears from the eyes.

Hi Suresh good review sir. Just happened to hear the album yesterday. heard the first song. it was fantastic. i felt it to be like the old rahman days with a bit of variety in sound he bought in. felt like this was the soundtrack of a bharatiraja movie.

good review boss. at times i felt the director wanted to shock the audience. All the time in the trailors what he shown was a peppy image of the movie. But the movie is a very serious and tragic one. I saw a lot of people crying in the show.
good review. Vellai Pookal and Vidi Kodu are the two classics in this album. Remaining songs are a bit ordinary.
Hi KK Actually every one is entitled to an opinion. Only time will tell what is a classic. After 5 years every one would still love hearing ' Tum Bin Bataye ' and 'Lukka Chuppi' whereas there would be thousands of ZINDA type songs which are dead. No offence to Mannsoor. I respect his views.

HI krishnakumar very good review. i fully agree that hardcore rahman fans need to listen to Uyirum Neeye and Vellai Pookal. Actually Vellai Pookal has a universal feel with Hamsadhwani as the base, but Uyirum Neeye is a pure Carnatic style song in maybe khamaj which the hindi audience may not rel read more...
I think the movie was well received. The Rythm songs are classics in their own right irrespective of the way they have been picturised. Accha have you heard the soundtrack of PAVITRA. It is another classic whcih few know. There are two brilliant compositions in the movie.
