In other words - it is my turn. I give my partner a wild card to put on a potential meld for a dirty . It is then decided that we want to move the wild card to a different meld before I have discarded is that allowing?

In playing hand and foot 4 people,2 teams. Can a play with a wild card be moved to another lay ( change of mind) be allowed if player has not discarded yet?
The group of ladies i play with when you have a meld of 6 card on the table, they turn the 6th card sideways noting to the other players the need only 1 additional card to complete a canasta. It also notes that they cannot pick up that 7th card from the discard pile to make a canasta, they have to draw it. Also, we only pick up the top card of the discard plle, we dont' pick up multiple cards. Are these considered variations and legitimate? Thank you.

If you need 180 points to go down and you have a canasta of nines does that count as 70 points or as an opening of 500 points..

Opponent put down to few points to open, his cards stays on table, game proceeds. Opponents partner makes the same mistake so his cards stays on the table. How does their game proceed thereafter

American Canasta has it - if pt mistake caught before next player begins turn, player returns cards to hand. & now has penalty of ten-points added to initial meld requirement.. If error ‘not’ caught, before next player draws card, miscount of meld stays as played. If error, caught before discarding & has cards to add, for correct meld; can do w/o penalty.

When you have gone out and are scoring. Do you add to your score each card within each canasta or do you give your partnership just the 500 points or 300 points for each canasta? I believe it is the latter. Am I correct? Thank you.

Player only had wild card left in her hand. They only had 1 canasta so she could not go out. She picked a 3 - what does she do? You can't discard a wild card if you have any other card to discard. Can she discard the three?
