Mrs lippett said to her. she wore an expression almost as pleasant as the one she donned for visitors. She advanced to the office quite cheered by the tiny episode.

One day Trustees come to visit, jerusha is summoned to the office for an interview with Mrs. Lippett. she glimpses one of the Trustees leaving the school. Mrs. Lippett hands her a letter.
