I think the best choice for a beginning trader is to open a Standard or ECN account. ECN is an electronic network through which traders’’ orders are executed. This type of account has very small spread starting from zero points and also very small commission for opening a deal. The minimum deposit amount for ECN is only $200. These trading conditions are very favorable for trading, especially when using high leverage. This account type is used by the most successful traders at OlympTrade broker.

Metatrader 4 is a classical trading platform. It allows to trade with fixed leverage. To change it, you need to go to your personal office. It support custom indicators. On the contrary, their web platform doesn’t support custom indicators, but it has its own advantages. For example, it allows to choose an amount to be invested for each trade. You can also choose a leverage size (a multiplier value) for each trade that can make your trading more flexible.

Yes, I agree, the phrase "leverage" frightens off many, but in fact there is nothing wrong with this concept. Leverage is not a loan in the usual sense of the word, no interest is charged for use intraday. The funds are not credited to the trader’’s account, they go straight to the deal. If the deal is unprofitable, then when the trader’’s personal funds decrease to a certain critical figure (20-30%), it is closed. In fact, it is a much needed tool and it really needs to be used.

At Olymptrade you can choose the leverage you need .. it’’s not difficult! You set the required leverage when you open an account with METATrader. You can change the leverage in your account settings! In your personal account, open the MetaTrader 4 tab, then select a trading account and in the "Leverage" parameter, set the value you need.

Their app really doesn’t provide economic news and insights. It feels like the broker created the app as a supplement to their desktop product, which is the major one. Professionals trade on desktop platforms. Mobile apps just allow to monitor already open trades.
