HI, I have purchased a Philips DVP3588x/94. This is an expensive on e Costing Rs.5k almost. But I am not able to play a DVD which my Sister from US gave. Philips Service Center guys say I have to take it to Service Center. Can you play the DVD form Region 1.

ICICI HFC allows you to reduce the interest rate after charging you 1% to 2%. They make a new agreement. But this is also equivalent to fleecing customers. I agree with your views on ICICI HFC. I have a FW-V537 system. It is not working now. WHen I try to get the same repaire they are charging Rs.2,500/-. I felt this is way too high. Is there any solution for this. Further my system was not able to play MP3 CDs written in current laptops.
