The Dawn of Civilization

Well. stories are stories. and no questions asked. 10, 000 B C is a treat for the eyes; Unless you want to be historically correct and make sure the chronology makes sense.

D’Leh as a character shows immense spirit; the passion towards the woman he loves, sense of loyalty to the tribe he belongs, respect towards the elders in his tribe, the unquenchable thirst to life. Well. traits that are seen in the human race even in 2008 AD.

The Man- Animal relationship is best portrayed when D’Leh tells the Sabre toothed tiger that he once saved "You must remember me! "

The slaves and the slave uprising; shows the free nature of man. in body and in spirit! Men want to decide their destiny and not give it to anyone else. And men do chose their destiny as D’Leh did!

Fantasy is the overall genre; the vivacious creatures, the’birds’ the landscape, everything has a mystic touch to it. The special effects on the big cat are worth mentioning and the mamoths are simply good. The storyline maybe a bit drab; but its worth watching.
