I have participated in one of their contest named "Samsung Galaxy S3 :Pay & get a chance to win Contest Coupon". I have entered in contest by purchasing this coupon in INR 599. I carefully read the conditions and terms for this contest and these terms and conditions are there with me now also.
Surprisingly, I got call from Mukesh (8904048940, 8904048924, 8904048933) three times to tell me that I have been included in the top 12 participants of the contest. Out of these 12, 10 will be selected as final winners. But to further participate in contest I have to pay further INR 4000. This will make me eligible for final round of contest.
As I said above, I have gone through all the terms and conditions and it was never and nowhere mentioned in terms and conditions that this contest will be executed in stages and I need to further pay INR 4000 to be in contest. Had I knew it previously, I would have never participated in this. More over, when I was entering in the contest, A message was delivered to me that I will be given INR 50 Rs Talk Time on my prepaid phone (I have screenshot of that message with me).
That message asked me to send the mail with contest details on mail id (ashwani@suksh.com) with recharge phone number in subject. I did that but I didnt got anything. Mukesh, the guy who called me said that I will only get this in the end of contest. What the hell. This was never mentioned when I got into contest.
I am taking this further now as they are fooling people and doing cheap marketing. But perhaps they forget that for the people who participates in such contests, If they are early adopters of such contests they also are sound enough in spreading the experience they had with anyone.
Maybe, had I not participated in this contest, I would have bought something from 100bestbuy in future but with this experience I will never do it and will make sure no one in circle do it.
