I had entered into a contest "“Apple IPhone 5S coupon” in 100BESTBUY.com on 18th Jan... Since they required paying online, I declined initially..... 2 weeks back I received a call from the company claiming that I had been selected for the top15 and that I would be getting a watch worth INR 2899 for just INR 840...also with the watch I was supposed to get a coupon for the contest I agreed. it seemed a pretty decent deal. I have been shopping online for a long time and never have I ever had a bad experience.
they delivered the watch today - the packaging was poor.. the box was broken when I opened the sealed bag.. the watch was just thrown into the box... THERE WAS NO FRIGGING COUPON..
i had just been robbed off my money.. I’d rather have my 840 rupees burnt than see these thugs get away with it.
I’m going in to the consumer forum to stuff some brains into these frauds and now that I stumbled upon mouthshut.com... it seems that I’m not the only victim here and people at 100bestbuy.com .. you seriously need to learn how to run an online shopping business.. GO LEARN IT FROM YOUR DADDY (flipkart , amazon , myntra, ebay , homehsop18.... loads of daddies waiting for you out there!)
