I have participated in a contest of 100bestbuy.com for an iphone and paid Rs.699/- towards the contest and it stated if I win they will send an iphone for the amount sent.After two days one of the representative of 100bestbuy.com informs that I was selected for winning a Dell Tablet against 50% cashback offer, and asked to pay Rs.14, 700/- and I will receive 50% of this to my account within a day.
Accordingly I paid the amount and I received no amount to my account. When asked, they informed that this amount will be as credit points in my account and can purchase other items, that was not informed earlier, and I am not agreed and asked for refund of the paid amount, and not to send the Dell tablet at that time.
But they send the tablet and denied my request. I have received only Tablet and a Charger and nothing else. They have not included the memory card, earphone. The Tablet received was not worked and not even the tablet was not charged. When asked, they informed to send back the Tablet and replace it. But when asked about the amount, they said that I agreed their terms and conditions when I paid the amount, and hence they can not return the received payment.
I have not believed them and handed over the Tablet for repair at the Service center and they
returned it after a month after repair it. Like this I was deceived by this online shopping portal and this site is a trusted one.
