Happy Mother’s Day
Last time on Mother’s Day, I had tried baking a cake for my mom to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day. Sadly, all that came out from the oven was a bowl of burnt flour ! I know you’re laughing, but I was just trying to be unique. It’s always great to do things out of the ordinary for mom. Make her smile in your own ways and believe me, even my burnt cake did.
Family
While your mom is of course in the limelight on Mother’s Day, don’t forget to wish the other moms around. Wish your granny, aunts, sisters and other family members who are mothers or grandmothers. It’s a day to celebrate motherhood and bow to all the great women who have brought new lives on earth. So get going !
Flowers
The only thing that matches a mother’s tenderness is perhaps the lovely flowers. Roses, daffodils, lilies or orchids, no matter what you choose, make sure you send mom a whole lot of floral wishes. My mom aside, I’ll also send some flowers to my neighbor Mrs. Bradley who will be missing her son Mike, living in London. You too go on and send some fragrant wishes to the wonderful moms you know.
