13 reasons why follows the story of a high school student clay jensen who finds a box of 13 cassette tapes numbered from 1 to 13. The tapes were recorded by his classmate and crush named hannah baker who committed a suicide2 weeks earlier. She explains why she did what she did by stating 13 reasons for it. And it turns out that clay is one of those reasons. The story revolves around clay listening to the tapes while trying to give justice to hannah by revealing the identities of the other 12 people on the tapes.
The story is gripping and entertaining to the core.
What all clay jensen goes through and suffers while reliving the horrors of hannah’s death is shown spectacularly in this netflix original. The series is inspired by the book by the same name by the the author jay asher.
Some scenes can be disturbing and gruesome to watch and viewers discretion is advised. Not suitable for people who are distured and kids.
All in all. a fantastic series.
