This is the fourth and latest episode of Mahesh Bhatt’s 1921 franchise. Guess whats new in this one, well this time the female lead is the exorcist.
Plot -
The story revolves around Ayush(Karan Kundra) who was very talented in playing music without any proper training. One day when he performs at his father’s boss Mr. Wadia’s house, he insists him to get a degree in music, and Mr. Wadia offers Aayush a deal, where he will pay for his studies at York College of Music and he will pay him back by taking care of Mr. Wadia’s Mansion at York. Aayush accepts the deal and move to York where after 3 months he feels that there is something wrong in that Mansion. Meanwhile Mr. Wadia’s niece visits the Mansion and tries to murder Aayush.
On the other end Rose(Zareen Khan) who falls in love with Aayush in moments after hearing his music, who has a special power with the help of which she can see spirits and talk to them. She helps people with this gift to get rid of evil spirits and live a happy life. How will she be able to help Ayush is the movie is all about?
Cast and Performance -
Both the protagonist Karan Kundra as Ayush and Zareen Khan as Rose was not that much well performance wise. The scripting could have been better. The screenplay dags too much. DIrection was on an average scale.
Music and Cinematography
Music was great. Cinematography was good as it make you feel that it is the time before we got Independence.
Overall the movie is not worth watching in the cinema hall if you are a horror thriller fan. You will not get the adrenaline rush you need.
