Readable but not extraordinary

Chetan Bhagat has been one of the most popular name among Indians who like to read English fictions. He was even rated by an English daily as the most read Indian English novelist. His works are popular for the simple language which can understand any anyone with a school level English knowledge and this novel 2 States- the story of my marriage is no exception. The plot revolves around the family of two young lovers who met and fell in love with each other during their MBA in IIMA. The boy is form Punjab a north Indian state and the girl is from Tamilnadu a southern state. The why the name came from “2 States”. Due to difference between the families in lot of aspects like culture and tradition their marriage gets complexes. The story tells how they overcome these problems and fulfil their love. The novel is readable of course which has a good pace and readability. The story also a new one unlike the other works of Mr.Bhagat. It may like by most of the people, I think it is a simple story with some good narration skills and nothing extra ordinary.
