I bought this book in 2010 to gift to my loved one. But before gifting it, I read this too. Really a wonderful novel by Chetan Bhagat. He wrote about his own life experience story. Novel is really awesome with real life experience. When we start reading the novel it give us a feel of a movie what we imagine in our thoughts. Then other amazing experience happened step by step and we get lost in the story we can say we can’t get bore while reading this because wonderful writing skill used in it.
Actually the story based on his true love story and how he got married to his loved one after so many problem. Because he was from Delhi, (north india) and his wife belong to southern area of India. They first met at IIM Ahemdabad, from where they did their MBA. Actually we can say it was their destiny. They fell in love and purposed for marriage. But both’s family rejected their choice because both had different culture and traditions. They tried their best to convince their parents but both families were not agreed. So finally they decide to be separate to each other. Then his father played a main role to convince his wife’s family and finally they got married.
And a bollywood movie was made on this novel with the same name called 2 States. Film stars were Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt acted in it. So as per my own experience this novel is a complete package of real life romance.
