A LANDMARK movie in INDIAN cinema not just Marath

I saw this movie in 1980.It left an impression even then. A regional movie and on a much lesser budget than cinemas enjoy now.It was well researched, painstaking Cinematography. Truly recreated history. It was a water-shed event in our Freedom Movement. The Patwardhan rose to the occasion to do justice to the Chaphekar Brothers.By today’s  standard I would compare it in perfection and appeal with Gandhi my Father.(2007)

Is it not a bit  pathetic that we have not widely circulated this movie with sub-titles in many regional languages. I think the PATWARDHAN  duo  have the type of patronage that matters;and make this movie go palces.. I wish it does happen . ......and  this lovely inspiring movies gets a wide platform.

It will always have a 5 star rating and 100% rating for an INDIAN audience. JAI HIND.......Dr. SKP(Pune).I hope the VCD has had an encouraging response. It is educative informative and inspiring for he audience.Even Movie makers will learn a lesson or two.
