Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan got Christmas gifts in the form of collections from their film 3 Idiots.The story is about 3 friends namely Rancho (Aamir Khan), Faran(Madhavan) and Raju(Sharman Joshi). Before the release hype created that the story is based on the India’s best selling English book namely "Five Point Someone".The story took the main theme of the book but not the entire story.Each and every character are well portrayed which stands as highlight of the movie.After watching the movie one will get a feeling that the movie has done justice to the price what they have put on it.The movie starts with two friends Faran and Raju who went in search of their best friend Rancho. The story deals with the students who joins in one of the leading engineering college where the deal is all about scoring highest marks.Eventually, leading to high mental pressure and rise in suicide rates. And also each and every parent wanting their son / daughter to become Engineer / Doctor and not caring about the interests of the students.
Highlights of 3 Idiots:
Just as Munnabhai MBBS and Lageraho MunnaBhai Rajkumar hirani comes up with a socially relevant task that reached audience quite well with 3 idiots.
Boman Irani’s highlight action and all other characters are simple.(i.e; Simple Script)
Music rocks."ALL IZZ WELL" reaches audience well.
Aamir Khan stands as highlight of the film with his perfect look as a student(Rancho) and with his brilliant comic timing and facial expressions.
Not entirely as of the book(FPS).
Twist before the interval which takes the film to next level.
Points that doesn’t work for 3 Idiots:
Title 3 Idiots is not justifiable as the story entirely revolves around Aamir Khan.
Mona Singh’s baby delivery which lasts for about 10 minutes is not convincingly done.
The second half is somewhat slow, lengthy.
Too many unrealistic, malodrama situations which do not work to that extent
Overall verdict of film 3 idiots:
Finally, 3 idiots is a movie with an excellent first half and an above average second half which is worth watching for one time.The message conveyed was brilliant and everyone youngster should watch the movie.
