What a movie

Place: Sydney Australia

What happened: I am passing near by a Chinese shop. Two Chinese are discussing a movie scene. I overhear   " the scene chamatakar balatkar is very funny ". I stopped- surprised. and with a smile I ask them " are u guys discussing ’3 idiots’ they start laughing and reply me back ’yes that is a very good movie.’

Friends this is not a made up story but my real life experience which happened with me on 2nd January here.

This movie is liked by all, not Indian but by our ’chini bhai’ as well. :)

And that could be one point that I recommend this movie to all who have not watched it yet.

I got DVD of this movie on 31st here. Usually I avoid the new movie DVD because the picture quality is bad. But luckly this DVD quality was very good and so far I have watched the movie at least 10 times. After ’Maine pyar kiya’( back in 1988) this is the only movie which gripped me so high to watch again and again.(we are not counting the epic ’Sholay’)

When I saw this movie I was lost in old memory lane of my engineering days.

I was remembering the old friends and trying to judge who is what as of now Rancho or Raju or Farhan.

(Most of my friends are either Raju or Farhan but hardly any Rancho)

Acting of all the actors in this movie is good and kudos to Director who made such a good movie.

There are lots of touching scene but some scenes are awesome.

In some of the scenes you will laugh. some scenes will remind you your school /college days .

Just remember the following scene to see the ’pia’ Beauty and bubbliness

  1. Kareena: Dad ye explain bauth acha karte hai.

  2. Kareena: Ha yar laganee padi 2 -4

  3. Kareena: Didi Beech me toka kyo

  4. Sale ne laga di doctoro ki.

  5. Every thing is fair in love and War

Raju interview was very touching:

"dono pair tudwa ke apne pairo pe khada hona seekha hai "

It was great to see Jayant Kriplani as interviewer.

This scene(Jayant Kriplani: tum kaha se aaye ho yar) reminded me the old door darshan days when I was so impressed with Jayant mannerism, his talking style.

now the funniest dialogue/Scenes are so many but recall this dialoge from Raju’s mother .

" ambulance ke liye 2 ghante pehle phone kiya tha. Pizza aane ki 20 minute me guarantee but ambulance ki koi gurantee nahi?)

Climax scene is just great. meeting with Funsukh Wangdu was amazing .

I loved this movie and would recommend to every one who wants to see a good movie.

Go and enjoy.
