’Aamir Khan’ plays the role of’rancho’, Madhavan plays the role of ’Farhan Qureshi’, Sharman JoshI plays the role of’raju Rastogi’, Kareena Kapoor plays the role of ’Pia Sahastrabuddhe’, Boman IranI plays the role of ’Viru Sahastrabuddhe’, Mona Singhplays the role of ’Mona’ &Javed Jafreed as a supporting character,
3 Idiots’ is based on the book’five Point Someone’written by’chetan Bhagat’ but presented with a unique screenplay. The film soundtrack is composed by’shantanu Moitra’ and lyrics penned by’swanand Kirkire’.all the songs esp.
Title song(my son twists his ears & sings whnever it’s on air, he he)my fav is "give me sunshine", a beautiful song which shows the pain of a youngster who’s under constant pressure throughout his student life.
It’s about the life of three friends, a journey in search of their friend’rancho(Aamir Khan) who has given a unique touch to their lives. Madhavan & Sharman start their journey in search of their friend Rancho and move back to their college and hostel days.
When I was watching the flick, I thought i’m also part of it, every lil situation, reminds me of my college life, though few jokes in it r old, but I still enjoyed every bit of it, everything b it ragging, alchohol abuse, stiff upper lipped teachers, useless theoretical teaching methodologies, student’s suicides, academic competition, hostel bullies, best friends, embarassing parents, poor students, stupid students( no one can forget the famous chatur speech)wasted talents, phew.the list goes on.
But there’s one faux pas in the movie, I hope sme of u might notice that mona( kareena’s sister was called poonam by boman in the first half of the movie, but later in a dramatic scene that follows birth of her child, she becomes mona, LOL.
All I can say is that MR.PERFECTIONIST did it again,
P.S.: whn I was in college he was in college, whn I had kids he was in college, now whn my kids r going to school he’s in college, whn my kids will go to college, I think he’ll still be in college, he he he, amir’s awsme!
BTW, ’3 Idiots’ grossed Rs.315 crore in 19 days , lagey raho munna(raju hirani) bhai, it’s a must watch, waisey most of u might have watched it already, I thnk merI induction engine(watch the movie 4 this) der sey chaltI hai, LOL.
