There are so many amazing books around, and this is specially hard for me, coz I’m crazy about reading. But a few books stand out from the rest. Among the classics Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights is a must read. It is wild romance about the unrequited love between the dark Heathcliffe and fair Catherine.

This is considered the greatest love story ever written, depicting the passion between Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler. For those who prefer lighter reading Erich Segal’s Love Story is perfect. The sweet love of Jennifer and Oliver, the humour used to deal with class differences and the tragic ending make this ’unputdownable’.

Danielle Steele is a writer who can move her readers to tears, a specially notable novel being Kaleidoscope a moving story about three sisters, born to a beautiful French woman and dashing American actor, who are orphaned and find each other years after being separated.

Bridget Jones’ Diary by Helen Fielding is the perfect book for the woman of today with it’s motto reality is a state of mind. Not the typical romance with the infallible hero, this is one book that is more real than fantasy and would appeal to everyone, the romantics, the realists...
