80 - 20(PARETO PRINCIPLE)

In this book the author explains how this principle can be applied for Business, Social and Study.

It does not teaches us to sit silent and get your result. Rather it encourages us to work on things which gives the maximum results.

When I first listen about the book I thought its impossible to apply in our daily life situations.

Later I came through the chapter "PARETO ANALYSIS" in my Academic book.Then I realised.

My friend and me want to go through the book. we are eager to know how the author narrated the situations by applying the principle.

We believe the principle and thought of applying to our studies in the following manner.

1. We took the list of the chapters mentioned in the book.

2. We took past 10 years question papers.

3. We started analysing based on the exam trend what are the important chapters and the topics that need to be focused more.

4. We make a list of all of them

5. Again when we are revising we applied the same principle.

AND WE SUCCEEDED.

In the book the author explains this way

For Business  -

1. In the Initial Stage concentrate more on marketing on the 20% platform

2. 20% customers resposible for 80% profit at the same time 20% customers responsible for 80% complaints so FOCUS ON 20% and get 80% results.

For Social life and Happiness -

1. 80% of Happiness and Fulfilment come from 20% of your friends. so spend time with them.

For Studies -

1. Studying for  a longer time does not give more results

2. Concentrate on Important Topics - What to Study

3. Don’t deviate while Studying(Social Networking)

4. Quality Study is important.
