A gentleman directed by Raj Dk is comedy action film with a very loose script. The backstory of Siddharth Malhotras character is not very satisfying and very on the surface. A very important part of the film, the colonel, Suneil Shetty, has a pretty small role and not been given much of a beleivable character.
A gentleman, what could have been a smart, and a cool thriller has been made into a masala entertainer, with music, cheesy dialogues, sexy bodies, a few jokers. Jacqueline fernandez just has a bubbly role and is on the sideline and doesnt add much to the film, besides the sexy factor.
The songs in the music is pretty good, but cant say the same for the action. The camera work takes away the attention from the actual action, and breaks the flow. what could have been a 1hr 30 min film has been stretched to 2 hours and more.
Although the movie can be seen to entertain yourself in this holiday week. but there are alot of other films that have comeout this friday, so its alright if you chose another one over this.
