Without a doubt, A.R. Rehman gives really good music to all the hindi movies that he has done. His secret lays in the fusion of south and north with western style music.
He has done some incredible work in movies such as Rangeela, Taal, Yuva and recently Swadesh. I was surprised to hear his music in The Legend. His style of music is very unique. You will sense the silence that is in his music.
The only thing you hear are the beats with silence in the background. It is sometimes annoying how all his music follow the same pattern. It is very easy to distinguish his music from rest of the music composers.
His style of music is loved by many in India and abroad. He has also worked on a world known play called Bombay Dreams. It is wonderful to have Indians coming out and exposing Indian talent across the globe. He will be loved for his music across the world someday.
