The Maharashtra coast offers a lot of exciting places to visit on weekends just about a few hours drive from Mumbai.The nearest silent, less crowded oceanic view can be enjoyed at Dahanu just 3 hours drive.
Then there’s also Alibaug offering crystal clear water and water sports also like banana ride, scuba diving and authentic Konkani food at reasonable rates.
The less famous Tarkali is also a great place to visit with family enjoying weekends at affordable rates creating a fun atmosphere altogether.
These are the places visited by me and my 3 friends personally so I can assure you these places are great to visit. You will have a great time instead of spending 3 times in Goa.
