A good entertainment for about 3 hours. The movie starts Okay and in about 1 hour, it gets nowhere and then they revivie. However if you need to entertain all types of crowd, such things happen and KS Ravikumar has delivered a good movie, though not the perfect ones that suits his stable. Good start for Udayanidhi and he has been reasonable in spendings which I got to know from one of the Diwali programmes. Surya has done a good job asusual and has not let down his fans’ expectations( My son was an upset fan as the last fight had Surya taking more beatings). Nayanthara is simple and beautiful.
Vadivelu rocks through the movie and has done a fabulous job. I felt he has carried the movie very well on his part and exceeded his deliverable. That is confirmed when Vadivelu had talked even after the shot completed and tagged extra hilarious lines which got added in the movie. Anu Haasan, who I hate to the core has done a good job for the short 15 to 20 minutes she made an appearance and the 10 year old Surya has done a reasonable job though the graphics are the best they could manage.
With regards to logic, we shouldnt look or search for one in movies if your purpose is pure entertainmen and if you with that mindset, this movie will entertain you for sure. I couldnt understand how the Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Doctors, National Security Guards could speak Tamil in Kolkatta and was a little funny but as I said they shouldnt be given much weight.
Songs are amazing and not living in Chennai is a big disadvantage and disaster especially if you are a music fan. The multiplexes here have pathetic audio. I miss the Satyams, Devi, Woodlands of Chennai:-(:-(:-(
The obituary message they put in the begining of the movie for one of the cast member( dont remember his name) shows the gratitude of the director and producer. Good stuff.
Worth seeing once and please see in the THEATRE and not in any pirated dics. Thanks.
