I have attended aakash coaching classes for 3 years straight( 11th, 12th and drop year) and I can confidently say that aakash institute is not the place where they take coaching students for medical entrances seriously.
First of all, there are students literally crammed in a classroom. My batch had 46 students sitting in a medium sized classroom and as anyone can guess, the backbenches can never hear what the tutor is saying.there were 13 batches like this for weekday course and 16 batches for weekend course, so the institute was very overcrowded as well. They provide courses for early birds, regular school going children of 11th and 12th class and courses for droppers, the courses are very diverse for the students to choose.
Secondly, the faculty, though talented and intelligent, just are not committed enough. They are irritated when asked about doubts( not all of them though) . Some teachers do have a good way of teaching but most of them just teach in a monotonous tone evry time.
Thirdly, the text material they provide is not upto the standards of the competiton in the real world. Full of unnecessary information and same types of questions repeated again and again.
The administration is one good thing about aakash, but it hardly makes a difference into choosing it.
