Looking back the yesteryears in Hindi Cinema, we have had potential actors and actresses who are remembered for their brilliant performances. Balraj Sahani, Raj kapoor, Kishore Kumar, Dharmendra, Amitabh Bacchan, Anil Kapoor, Nutan, Madhubala, Nargis etc to name a few. However, the new stars have solely disappointed a lot. These days we see a old stale storyline with new stars that have nothing to offer but there are quiet a few who dare to do something different.like Aamir Khan. Though his initial start was not good, this actor has grown into one of the finest actors that we have today. An actor is complete if he/she dares to show something different on screen. Whether it is Bhuvan in Lagaan, or a dedicated cop in Sarfarosh, or a funny guy in Dil Chahtha hai or Munna in Rangeela, Aamir has the ability to swing peoples moods. Shahrukh Khan on the other hand does not have that capability. He tends to overact most of the times. When aamir made Lagaan, Shahrukh came up with Ashoka. Where Lagaan was brilliantly crafted, Ashoka was a disaster. I can see Lagaan again but not Ashoka. When Shahrukh Khan got the award for Best Actor in Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayengey.I was disappointed. Aamir deserved it for Rangeela. Not that I have any grudges against Shahrukh but both actors are miles apart. I dont have to think twice if I were to go for a Aamir Khan movie in a theatre but when it comes to Shahrukh, I see who is the heroine cast opposite him and then I decide to take the plunge.
It goes without saying that Aamir is the best .
