Eye Eye Sir

As the poster reflects AB is the focal point of the movie and is aptly called the sutradhar of the plot and the movie. The movie is about a Schizophrenic General Manager of V J Bank, who is thrown out due the acute symptoms of his disease and decides to take revenge.

The brilliant idea is to execute the operation by three Blind Men to avoid any chance of getting caught either directly or indirectly as it sounds implausible that three blind men can rob a bank in broad daylight.

The movie is a big relief coming from Mumbai Film Industry which rarely thinks beyond Good Vs Bad and love triangles in which there are always happy endings with the good guys coming out unscathed. The first half is very fast with very tight storyline and all the characters have played their parts to the best of capacity and Paresh Rawal has played one of the best roles ever. He had done good comedy and has shocked the audience with the portrayal of a blind beggar who was forcefully blinded after being abducted. Akshay Kumar has started maturing as an actor and Sushmita has done a good job as the trainer of the Blind Trio.

Photography is great and the locations have been selected to provide visual relief without interfering with the storyline.

The opening number by Remo sets the pace of the movie and AB looms large over the movie after that. AB too has done a sensible role after a long time without dancing and playing father or a grandfather. The story writer has done a good job by not introducing any romantic interest in the character of Rajput played by AB.

The ending could have been curtailed by 15-20 minutes to keep the audiences glued till the end, but then there is no such thing as a perfect movie.

All and all a great movie and its money worth spend.
