A 5 feet 4ish inch guy with a hat pops out of the airplane with his newly clean shaved chest wide open. Two seven feet tall black and white men are following him for his protection. He walks into an auditorium full of people. He starts singing from his nose but resists to dance. The song is super hit. The end.
This is what this movie should have been: A music video. However, we are made to believe Mr. Himesh will finally take off his hat, tell reasonings behind constant expressionless face, and reveal his real Luv story. Let me tell you my friends and strangers, do you really want to know all that?
His hat does comes off..For the final scene of the movie for about 5 seconds. The same scene you can see in the movie trailer.
The story revolved around Himesh and Himesh only. He is the father and the mother of this movie. If not the music, the curiousity to watch Himesh "ACT" will save this movie. Other than that, this movie has nothing to offer. The movie starts off with Himesh being conspired against. He is arrested for murdering a reporter. Then we go into flash back and music marathon. He falls into love with a girl, thank you Jesus, because him and his over-acting and playboy wannabe friend looked more like a couple.
Then he goes into the jail and then I stopped paying attention to the rediculous plot. To boil down the whole plot, the girls dad doesnt approve Himesh and gets his daughter married in India, where most people were white...was it really India or Germany...Who cares. Himesh comes at the right time and saves his heroin.
The greatest aspect of the movie was The Most Wonderful Climax in the History of BOllywood. Imagine, a directors who was in so much debt of the three wheelers that he had the need to pay tribute to the them. He wanted to pay this tribute so much that he had 3 special Mumbian three wheelers (tampoos) in Germany. You heard me right..In GERMANY. They distracted the cops so our HERO can save his bride. All my "faith" in Himesh was now gone and I was "Fearing". I guess it is true that "If there is faith then there is no fear".
To sum up, Himesh needs serious Acting lessons. Hansika looks cute sometimes but needs to take the weird smile off her face sometimes..atleast in the sad scenes. The director needs a lesson in finding the right story and stop paying useless tributes. Buy the Music Video and Skip the Movie.
