The music of the film was the only saving grace in the film. The plot was as listless as the performances. It goes something like two friends both like same girl. The girl loves one (Hashmi) and considers the other to be a good friend. While Hashmi keeps his intentions about love very clear ( the mandatory kissing and Luv -making "Murder Ishtyle") the other friend does not divulge his love for th egirl. The girl feels Hashmi is a dubious character (supposedly doing drugs) and feels threatened by him. Hasmi supposedly makes crank calls and unnerves our pretty lady. The other actor, her good friend is always by her side. Towards the end it is revealed that the trusted friend was the mean guy. Some shhotings and the Hasmi & Tanushrre are in hospital, infact the movie opens with shots of the two being rushed through the corridors of the hospital. Yes, the story is in flashback. Emran Hashmi seems to sleep walk his roles and he is the same in all movies. The other actor is somewhat better though his supposedly under stated acting borders on the wooden. Ms. Tanushree Dutta looks pretty, and her backless noodle strap suits give ample view of her attractive back. Though its worthwhile to mention she looked more hot in her other flick, "Chocolate". Her acting skills need not be mentioned here, she only manages to look pretty when she is not pouting. The songs are good and the music of Reshammiya is actually good. Though Reshammiya sounds sonerous but being a new voice it sounds good, something on lines of Sufi singers.
Go ahead if you wish to buy the CD of the music. You can safely avoid the VCD and the DVD. I feel its not worth to waste two and a half hours on the film.
