People of my age would agree that if Aashiqui was loved by them for the movie and music both, Aashiqui 2 isnt too bad as a movie and even better for its songs/music !!
I awaited the music release much more than I did of any bollywood sequel... And I dont regret the wait as the music still touches my ears and heart over and over again :)
The movie on the other hand was a bit disappointing... Dont wish to waste time on reviewing it here (in the wrong section) or the movie section. Infact I believe the movie itself gives youngsters a message that Too much drinking can lead to death LOLZ!
So coming back to the music... Songs are awesome... All of em... With fresh talents like Palak Muchhal, Arijit Singh and Ankit Tiwari AND veterans like KK, Shreya Ghoshal and Tulsi Kumar the compilation cannot go unheard or unnoticed !!
Piya Aaye Na - Tulsi Kumar, Kk
Bhula Dena - Mustafa Zahid
Aasan Nahin Yahan - Arijit Singh
Sunn Raha Hai - Shreya Ghoshal
Milne Hai Mujhse Aayi - Arijit Singh
Aashiqui (The Love Theme) - Instrumental
Tum Hi Ho - Arijit Singh
Sunn Raha Hai - Ankit Tiwari
Chauhun Main Ya Naa - Palak Muchhal, Arijit Singh
Hum Mar Jayenge - Tulsi Kumar, Arijit Singh
Meri Aashiqui - Palak Muchhal, Arijit Singh
All songs are amazing and a must listen for every one... Specially the onez in love!
The amazing contribution of instrument players are worth praising... Each song has its own class of itself... Own best way of expressing love through the otherwise unpraised music instruments.
Will recommend to everyone... I doubt if anyone hasnt heard the songs yet as they are all over the place - radios, cafes etc. But still if you havent please give it a chance and Fall in Love again...!!
Thanks,
