Aatma-Touched my soul

Aatma, the third venture of the colonial cousins is not at all an album that lets u down. The album grew up on me after the third listen and I suppose this album wouldn’t become a favourite of all.I jus loved it.

’’Guiding Star’’-This number you can listen at any time and any number of times.I mean it.he guitar works soothe you down.Hari’s voice and the classical mix are really a treat to hear.

’’Mata Pita-The number grows on u.The lyrics matters much in this song and Lezz hasn’t let you down at any part of the song.Beautiful.

’’Dheem Dheem’’-A disco kinda number that rings in your heart but is certainly not the best of the tracks.A Good and entertaining one.

’’Dil me tu’’-The song starts with a mohanaveena and moves on to pop style drastically and really attracts the senses. The song’s duration is a bit draggy.

’’I love you girl’’-Again a nicely rhythmed melody with a very poised lyrical stuff. The song brings the feel of an old bollywood number.

’’Sri Rama’’-A very different song with a strange rhythm setup to praise the lord.Very well-blended with Sri thyagaraja’s keerthana.Nice try.

’’Kai Zhala’’-Sounds much of a trendy number but doesnt stick to heart much. But is very well arranged.

’’Turn Around’’-The number which should have been a melody , but turned to a pop styled one and really succeeds. And when Hari starts the pitch, the song really rocks.

’’Sundar Balma’’-Wow!!!What a number.I felt the song really mind blowing after a few listens. The way Hari starts after Lezz ..’’Sundar Balma’’ and the funky keys...Cool!!!

Don’t judge the album at the first listen.Get your souls in it n, feel it...
