NOT THE BEST BUT SATISFACTORY

Ab Ke Baras is a film about rebirth directed by Raj Kanwar. The main actors are Anjali(Amrita Rao) and Karan(Arya Babbar). Anjali has flashbacks about her lover who and that she should return to him. Anjali goes on a journey to find the guy who she has been getting flashbacks of. Anjali bumps into Karan and he is the one who is trying to help Anjali find her true love. It is not until a while we ask the question ’is it Karan that Anjali is trying to search for?’.

Ab Ke Baras can be quite confusing if you do not focus on the film. But that is what makes this film interesting; its twists and turns. Without it the film would be down the drain. The complexity of the storyline makes you want to watch what happens in the film next.

The actors I think were pretty good. Arya Babbar and Amrita Rao looked very nice and you could clearly see the emotional relationship between the two.

I have to say that the songs were not very good. The only one I enjoyed was Aaya Mahi. It was through this song I wanted to watch the movie - because you see when I went to the Diwali festival a group danced to this song and I thought it sounded quite good. I was hoping the other tracks would sound as good aswell on this album, but unfortunately I have to give the album a 2 out of 10. The dancing to Aaya Mahi was of good standard. I especially liked the red outfits the background singers were wearing. It made the scene more colourful.

Overall I recommend this film as something to watch when you don’t have much to do.
