1. They continued charging me for 4 months after I repeatedly mailed them for disconnection.
2. They finally threatened for legal action. A collection agent from their side pretended over phone as a third party advocate. He informed me that ABC Broadband has filed a legal suit against me, and I will have to pay up the charges for 4 months or appear in a Delhi Court. ( I live in Nagpur). He didn’t send me any legal documents though, even after I repeatedly requested.
3. Once I settled the account for 4 months, they again activated my account instantly. I had to make 10 calls, and write to their appellate authority to finally get my connection discontinued. However, they still billed me for a month (I haven’t paid for that month. I am waiting for legal notice) .
I really regret having taken a ABC Broadband connection, because I had to pay around 4K bucks after requesting disconnection, face a collection agent who threatened legal action, make so many calls to their customer service (they pick up calls after 5-10 mins of waiting), and waste so much of my time and energy.
