Good product, TERRIBLE customer service

This is an update to my earlier review (below). Exasperated with my attempts to get service response from ABC Broadband Customer Care 1800 number, I called the salesman who had sold me the connection. I told him about the fact that I had still not got any response from ABC Broadband about the installation.


The Sales guy confirmed: "Don’t bother calling the customer care guys, you wont get any response. They are chu". He said he’ll take care of it. Sure enough he called me the next day, and confirmed that I would get the installation call....And I finally did.


The installation process was smooth. The product is working well for now. Very well in fact. Keeping fingers crossed. I dread the day when I will need customer service from them. Coz they don’t know sh** about customer service.

It has been 24 hours since my last review below. It has now been two frustrating days, and there is no delivery by ABC Broadband. Their customer care number still gives the same response "Yes Sir, we have spoken to the installation team. They will call you within 1 hour and the installation will be completed today". This is the response I got for every call I made to them throughout the day. At the end of the day, when I called once again, I was informed that the installation will be done ’tomorrow’. The installation team has not even telephoned me. When I asked the customer care executive for the contact number of the installation team member, they flatly refused!! When I expressed my frustration, the customer care executive spoke rudely and actually hung up!! Even a cobbler must be better at customer service than ABC Broadband. This is the worst treatment one can give any customer. And by the way, I have not even received a reply or response from ABC Broadband to the email I sent them yesterday. Should I even be surprised?

At the time of purchase, I was promised installation and activation within 48 hours if I made cash payment. I fell for it and paid.


After 48 hours, there is no call for installation. Repeated calls to the 1800 customer care number keep getting queued and disconnected. When you do get through, you once again get tall promises : "yes sir, we have issued your work order, the engineer will call you and come today itself". When I asked roughly what time will he come, they flatly refused to commit. After long wait and several calls, I asked for the contact number of the sales supervisor, but they flatly refused to give it to me.


I have written an email to them. Lets hope I get some proper response and service.
